  • The winter snows of Cannon Mountain ski area are still to be seen well into spring. Franconia Notch State Park looks far-away yet will be only 4 miles from your door.

This newly constructed, air conditioned 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is situated to make the best of the wonderful views of Cannon Mountain. The grand deck with gas BBQ and patio furnishings makes for a great spot to observe all of nature's beauty that surrounds and sometimes even visits. Or glance out every once in a while from the open concept living, dining, and kitchen areas, where you will find satellite TV and DVD/VCR. As for sleeping; take your pick from any of the three equally outfitted queen size bedrooms, or the 4th bedroom with 2 twins, all with windows facing toward the pasture and the larger views beyond. All this and only minutes from great local dining, as well as I-93 and Franconia Notch State Park. All that is needed now is your welcome enjoyment.

    A lovely place,. We were 4 adults & 3 children from under 2 to 10 years old. We used all 4 bedrooms. The one in the "basement" was less than satisfactory - needed a night table, reading lamp, and curtains and/or rugs to cut down echoes. Also, the master bedroom upstairs had no shades/blinds. Easy to upgrade.

    We stayed in the property with our six children. We loved the house. It was in a great, out of the way, yet very convenient location. We were just a few minutes from Franconia Notch State Park. We drove to nearby towns for meals. We had plenty of room and were comfortable. The house was clean and had plenty of paper goods. The only issue we had was figuring out that we couldn't use all three showers at the same time and still have hot water, but the water heater kept up fine when we used them one after another. We would highly recommend and will probably be back!

    The owners thought of everything - a well-appointed kitchen, some great books and games, a beautiful land-scaped yard, comfortable beds, and fantastic view.
