  • The Furst Haus- A Mittersill Chalet sits at the beginning of the village assuring you an easy out to the slopes in the morning and a quick return come lunch time or days end. You can even walk to the lifts and ski home when snow permits!
  • This Mittersill Chalet is as large and close to the Mittersill Slopes of Cannon Mountain as it gets. Very nicely remodeled in the past several years, your winter vacation comfort and enjoyment is most assured, and it is on theski area's shuttle service route too.
  • Exterior View #2 shows how nicely tucked away this chalet feels, while in actuality it is so centrally located to all your four season White Mountain & Franconia Notch fun you won't hardly believe it.
  • Just out your door and grand windows that surround this chalet folks can exepct to recieve outstanding mountain views, such as this. Cannon Mountain in all its calm & splendor awaits your family's enjoyment!
  • In winter months your view at the end of the driveway will appear as so, with the closest Cannon Mountain ski lift being less than .3 miles away from your door-step. You will be able to walk to the lifts and then ski home when snow conditions permit!!
  • The Living Area of the Furst Haus is meant for family gathering and group togethering. Lots of glass, 2 couches, a love seat plus a soap-stone woodstove fireplace insert offer great mountain country comfort any time of day or season. It's Wi-Fi Equipped too!
  • This second view of the Furst Haus living area shows the soap-stone stove and provides just a glimpse of the stairs leading to the 2 upstairs bedrooms matched by a small yet full size bathroom.
  • Living Room View #3 shows a bit of the galley style kitchen that rests most immediate to the dining table den that offers bench style seating for up to 8 comfortably.
  • The Family Den area of the First Haus features an over-sized wrap-around couch perfect for playing or watching the favorite game. Located on the lowest, walk-in level floor of the home this is a perfect retreat from "the real world" just outside or up stairs.
  • Tucked just off the opposite side of the galley style kitchen is this neat-n-tidy dining den. Simple great use of space with little to no waste along the way. It offers easy service from stove to table-top too.
  • Here's another shot of the dining area with the kitchen immediately to the photographers left, looking out to the Living Room.
  • Although not long on space the Furst Haus kitchen is built for speed. Anyone wishing to cook for a family or group of 10 knows gas is the way to go, and when this kitchen was completely re-modeled a year ago they did it right!! Do note that the full size pantry makes up for what may appear to be missing here.
  • Located on the main floor just off of the living area, this "Main bedroom" is considered primarily so because it offers the most room of them all, plus a great quality Queen size bed.
  • The second bedroom of the Hillary House- A Mittersill Chalet, is also located on the main floor, next to the Main Bedroom and it has a full size bath just outside of its door.
  • The 3rd & 4th bedrooms of the Hillary House are both located on the third and highest floor which also offers a small yet full size bathroom. Each room offers a top quality queen futon style bed.
  • Here's another angle of the third bedroom, located on the top floor of the Hillary House, a Mittersill Chalet located most immediate to Cannon Mountain and all of Franconia Notch State Park.
  • The fourth bedroom of the Furst Haus offers another full size futon style bed arrangement comfy for two.
  • The Furst Haus's fifth and final bedroom is located on the lower walk-in level of the home and enjoys immedate access to a full size bath, plus full size washer-dryer laundry room. They really have made great use of all space in the lowest level of this Mittersill Chalet style home.

    Great house across the street from Mittersill side of Cannon (easy walk to the lift when the Mittersill side is open, otherwise a two minute drive to get to the lifts at Cannon). The house has a separate basement w/ TV, Xbox, etc. and is a great place to hang out when people on the second and third floors are sleeping. The only complaints are that there are no king beds and the ceiling in the third floor bathroom are low and slanted, so it is somewhat difficult for taller people to maneuver in there. Otherwise, the house was very enjoyable and you can't beat the location.

    What can I say, our stay could not have been better!!!!! It started with our first contact on the internet with Franconia Notch Vacation. They were responsive and helpful. From the moment we picked up the key until we left everything was perfect. The house was everything we hoped it would be (pictures did it justice) and the location could not have been better.       Thank you for your positive review, yet we must wonder how/why the house got a "3" when the over-all experience was a 5. The Furst Haus is one of the more modern offerings within the Mittersill Village as all aspects of the home but one bathroom have been completely rebuilt-n-remodeled within the past 3 years.
