  • The living spcae of the High Hillside Chalet is forward facing to take best advantage of the White Mountain views and all the light that the main windows allow in. The fireplace is sure to be enjoyed on the cooler days of summer and they do happen here.
  • The Living and Dining areas of the High Hillside chalet run together rather nicely with yet still more windows. Outside of these windows you are sure to enjoy watching the Hummingbirds that visit with regularity. They are what we like to consider our "White Mountain Fairys".
  • The amply sized kitchen is located just beyond the breakfast bar that breaks through the middle of this frame. The effect is sort of nice in that is seperates the rooms yet keeps them open enough to make serving dinner or decent conversation a breeze.
  • The lower level of the High Hillside Chalet is not only the level of entry, it also features this enjoyable TV Den area perfect for lounging around playing games or watching movies should a rainy day set in.
  • The High Hillside Chalet features 4 bedroom with 2 baths, divided equally between the the 2 floors. This design enable 2 families to vacation in relative easy and with lots of comfort. Each level offers a queen size bedroom as seen here.
  • The second equally outfitted Queen size Master Bedroom. This one located on the lowest level of this White Mountain Chalet. It just minutes to all that is Franconia Notch State Park from here by the way.
  • The third and fourth bedrooms of the High Hillside Chalet both feature 2 sets of solid bunkbeds each. Expect all the lower bunks to be fully outfitted where the top bunks are will be left un-made and without linens or towels to support.

    Shower leaked into the lower bedroom,window hardware was broken on several windows. I felt that for the money we paid the standards should have been higher. Beautiful location though.

      Sorry the property did not meet your expecations Mr. Nickerson. Now here's the ironic part folks... we had upgraded Mr. Nickerson's family from the property he had originally chosen on-line, which was a lessor quality and lower value based home, to this larger, more modern chalet with no additional cost to them. I can only imagine how that review might have sounded, and as is sometimes the case, good deeds don't go un-punished. However, based upon all prior guest reviews for this property, (and we can not delete them by the way), this review is sort of an anomaly, yet it does prove that our reviews are honest and otherwise un-editted.
