  • The fourth bedroom of Kinsman Valley View is very kid friendly, however it's been built sturdy enough to support most any adult in comfort. There are 3 sets of bunk beds in this room offering sleeping for up to 6 comfortably.

    The house is very large and very accommodating for a large group. (We had 16). It is off-the-beaten-path which is great for privacy, but difficult in other respects. For instance, the home's water supply is likely well-fed so water pressure doesn't last long. They also don't plow the road to the house which doesn't help after the snow covers it (we had almost all of our vehicles get stuck at the bottom of the hill). This wasn't that big of a problem, but was surely a hassle after the grocery run.

    The house itself was immaculate and gorgeous. My only complaints are that the trash removal is difficult to understand if you are an out of towner (with the 'transfer' system) and the description of the fifth 'double' bed as it was actually a pull-out bunk bed. Again, small issues.

    Overall, it's an incredible value and stunning home that is only a half hour from most amenities. It's the perfect getaway for a city slicker.

      John's group was great, and we want to thank them for being sure their trash was all well bagged as requested, and as such we took care of it easy enough for them. Our Transfer Station rules can seem confusing, regretfully. Other than this, John must have missed the "Important Footnote" that appears in the listing for the home, that being that the drive-way is steep and often does require All or 4-Wheel drive. However we assure that this driveway does get plowed and sanded on a routine basis when snow conditions warrant. Glad their wekeend was well enjoyed by all given the weather they endured while being here (it rained, then snowed about 1" and then got real cold). Thanks again for coming John! Cort

    You couldn't ask for better accommodations. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we could need. The only possible negative was that it had no inernet access and was a 15 minute drive from "downtown" Franconia (where you could use the library hook up).
    The area is truly magnificent! There is so much to do. Hiking, swimming, biking. The drives to everywhere were ridiculously long, but I think that is just life in the mountains.
    If you want a mountain vacation, we would highly recommend this home!
